Jingzhou Christian Council conducted HIV/AIDs Prevention Campaign in World AIDS Day

2011, December 1st - As part of the global World AIDS Day, the Christian Council of JingZhou County in Hunan Province, Jingzhou County Health Bureau, and the county's Center for Disease Control jointly held the "Take Action, Towards 'Getting To Zero' AIDS" event outside the local BuBuGao Supermarket.

Battling unusually cold weather, with hands red from the chilling winds, the volunteers exemplified the spirit of "glorifying God to benefit the people". They smiled as they courteously handed out promotional materials to pedestrians. Local television stations filmed live reports from the scene, and the event was well-received within the community with good results and more than 5000 copies of the promotional material on the theme of "AIDS prevention" distributed.
